We are located at Manston, Kent’s International Airport, on the historic RAF Battle of Britain frontline airfield. Manston is situated on the Isle of Thanet near the seaside towns of Margate and Ramsgate.

Travelling by car
We are near the Manston Airport site, signposted from the A299 Thanet Way. If travelling from London / Canterbury, follow signs on the A299 to Ramsgate until the Minster Roundabout. Turn left (signposted Manston / Airport) onto Minster Road. At the next roundabout, turn right onto B2190 Spitfire Way, continuing over a further roundabout, following the perimeter of the airport on your right, until you reach the junction. Turn right and immediately left onto Manston Road.
The museum’s car park is a short way down on the right-hand side via the B2050 (airport side of the museum)

Travelling by Bus
Stagecoach Bus (www.stagecoachbus.com) route 48 between Dumpton and Birchington (stopping at Ramsgate and Manston) and route 11 between Westwood Cross and Canterbury (stopping at Minister and Wingham) both run at stop at the nearest stop – Manston Museums. Please bear in mind you will have to cross a busy road with no crossings to get to RAF Manston History Museum from the bus stop.
Travelling by Train
Trains from London Victoria, London Charring Cross, London St. Pancreas International and London Bridge to Ramsgate via Ashford or Canterbury run daily (www.southeasternrailway.co.uk). Ramsgate railway station is a 10 minute drive/taxi or you can get on the Stagecoach bus route 48 from the railway bus stop to Manston Museums.
